I just love this silly horse!

Such a good boy!

Iaugustus (still looking for a nick name) is coming along so nicely! He not only learns quickly, but he really WANTS to work. He is a great student and I look forward to going to the barn everyday :) I'll be posting new pictures as soon as I get some~

My horsey idol-Sabine Schut-Kery on Twitter!

Sabine Schut-Kery is an incredible, world renowned dressage rider and clinician. She has brought friesians into the dressage competition spotlight a way that has shown the world that friesians are not only worthy of competing in dressage, but that can compete against the very best! She is a personal idol of mine and I thought I'd share her Twitter info case anyone wishes to check that out, and I've also posted her training site.

He's here!!

The new friesian gelding has arrived and he is such a love! He carefully unloaded from the trailer in the pitch dark, walked bravely through the aisle way past all the new horses looking out at him and into his new stall. He was so calm and stoic. After he settled in and ate some hay, I clipped his face, as I was not sure there was even a face in there! He had a huge beard and tons of long hair on his face. Not only did he let me clip him without batting an eye, but he seemed to REALLY enjoy it! I think having all that hair was itchy and the clipping felt good :) He looks so much better and I can actually see his face now. I'm a horrible clipper so he looks a tad bush-whacked but I'll post pics as soon as I get them. Joe is rooting for calling him Rio, so we will see :)

Troy has an Equi-Spirit ball!

Oh my, what a fun toy! Troy now has a HUGE ball that looks like a basketball. It's so fun to watch him paw it and try to bite it. I'll be posted pictures and video of this soon :)

The new boy is on his way!

So the new guy is on his way here as I write this! How exciting! He is in great need of some major TLC in the coming weeks and months. He is underweight and underloved, but I will be changing that very soon. His registered name is Iaugustus, and I'm trying to think of a name that suits to him call him for short. Toying with a few, including Solo, Uno, Diego, Marko and Ruben. We shall see what suits him.
